Final fantasy XV had signatures from the dev team very cool
the more videos scott makes the more im impressed by just how much money he can spend
to the extremely vague credit of r&c:rift apart's early unlock of the weapon- its normally only obtainable in ng+ (and for basically free upon reaching that point) so the benefit is less "you can skip unlocking this" and more "you get to use this on your initial playthrough"
Why'd you have to call me out buying three hopes on day one man?
It's not a launch edition technically, but freaking Until Dawn locked an entire chapter behind a preorder bonus. AND NEVER RE-RELEASED IT
The dark souls 3 day one edition on ps4 also came with a bondfire keychain
When did he change the outro?
I never even heard of these editions until clicking on the video. Now I know why some fans wait for hours and hours at a game store just to get a specific set bundled with a game.
The monkeyball box is the only reason I bought it on ps5 instead. The stuff fits in the cardboard sleeve more naturally and fits fine on the shelf.

we need the L button
I used to go for preorder bonus things because they came free... Until I noticed that they kind of just collect dust while I play the game itself because the game always overshadows any extras. So I've only gotten the most basic edition for many years now. Same' with deluxe/ultimate/superiormasterfulgrandiose editions out there.
Only trouble is sometimes games only come with those extra things. They sell them as a "special edition" when in reality it's the "only edition". A classic sales tactic to get people not in the know to swoop it up at all times of it's print life. Sort of like when there's a "sale price" when it's the regular retail price and it's always "on sale".
How have I litteraly never heard of "launch editions" before? This video acts like its an extremely common trend but ive never seen it once
