I sided with Sabal because he was such a homie. He rescued Ajay at the beginning (even though he technically didn’t need rescuing, but we didn’t know that as the player), and was good to us from the start. Amita was a bitch when she first met Ajay for no reason, and I just couldn’t get behind her strategies of selling drugs, destroying temples, and securing the Golden Path’s stability by any means necessary. However I also didn’t want Sabal to get his way by retaining ALL the old traditions (you know, the marrying little kids stuff, making Bhadra some sort of deity), but at the end of the day I agreed more with him than Amita. Still, in the end I couldn’t bring myself to kill Amita. I had no reason to, she only meant well for the cause (plus she’s just soooo pretty 😍). Regarding Pagan’s fate, I elected to spare him (at least for the time being, or so I thought LOL) because I really wanted to see what he was going to show us. To be frank, I never wanted Pagan dead because he never showed any hostility to us. He never once tried to kill us, and in hindsight only wanted to help us achieve our goal from the very beginning. Granted, he may be a POS with what he’s done to the people of Kyrat, but as evident by the end of the game, he’s no worse than how Sabal/Amita ended up. Actually I fully sympathized with Pagan when I found out that his daughter was murdered by Mohan—it would explain why he is the way he is. If you ask me, Pagan’s better than both of them, actually 🤷🏻‍♂️

If only they released a dlc where if you stayed with pagan in the starting mission you joined him and his forces and there was like a 2-3hr long mission/missions where you had to find sabal and the women i forgot her name

my playthru is complicated, I never played a side mission and stuck on this game for 40 hours containing dlc
first playthru wasn't finished, as uplay cloud save was lost, I chose to obey Amita but half way I found this beautiful lady was evil, sometimes I even imagined shooting her kid down in the campaign
the second playthru I chose to obey that Sabal, most parts are satisfying but in the end I still want to see the Panga Min ending and not by YouTube way
the 3rd playthru I pulled the trigger just to see if the ending could be rewinded and let me choose a second time, but then The King is Dead pops up, nothing here, no restart of the final mission, damn
4th playthru I had to use the hack just to see what this funny weird white hair guy wants to do, then it is totally like the secret ending at the start, but still worth it, I shot the chopper just before the Fin pops up, no affection at the ending, nice

If I’m gonna be honest here.I’d say sabal is the better choice. Sabal kills everyone who supported amita while amita makes everyone a slave. They’re both bad tho.

amita turns kirat into a narcostate, the ghost recon unit and the 4th echelon comes and kill the golden path, so amita's ending is the best ending

Amita and Sabal were both bad. Sabal wanted to kill anyone that helped Anita&Pagan Min

While Amita basically used children to make drugs and become soldiers.

Pagan was literally the "good guy" compared to them.
